applications from qualified and experienced professionals for engagement as Business Data Analyst on
a contract basis to support enterprise-level data analysis, business intelligence initiatives, and
decision-support systems.
We are looking for a highly skilled and experienced Business Data Analyst to join our team. The ideal
candidate will have a strong background in data analysis, SQL proficiency, and the ability to translate
business requirements into actionable insights.

Nature of Appointment : Contract basis for an initial period of one year (extendable based on performance and requirements)
Mode of Selection : Test and Interview conducted by IT wing of KSEBL
Place of Posting : Vydyuthi Bhavanam, Pattom, Thiruvananthapuram or any other office as decided by KSEBL
Bachelor's degree in Data Science, Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science, Engineering AND
Postgraduate degree/diploma/certification in Business Analytics/Data Analytics/Data Science
or a related discipline from a recognized university or institution
Familiarity with SQL, Python/R, or other data analysis programming languages
Minimum 5 years of post-qualification experience in business data analysis, data modelling, statistical analysis, and business intelligence reporting in a large enterprise or government/public sector organization
Expertise in Data Analysis & Data Profiling: Experience in analyzing data sets, identifying
trends, and performing data profiling.
Proven expertise in working with enterprise databases, data warehousing, and Proficiency in
any major data visualization tools and ETL tools.
Experience in preparing executive dashboards, forecasting models, and KPI analysis for
business performance monitoring
Experience in utility or energy sector analytics will be an added advantage
Consolidated monthly remuneration commensurate with qualifications and experience, subject to KSEBL norms
₹ 80,000 - ₹ 1,25,000 per month (consolidated pay)
Factors Influencing the Salary Fixation:
Experience level: Candidates with more than 8-10 years of experience may be eligible for the
higher end of the range.
Specialized skills: Proficiency in enterprise tools like Power BI, Tableau, SQL, Python/R, or
experience in the energy/utilities domain may justify higher compensation.
Government/PSU experience: Preference and possible higher pay for those with prior
experience in MNCs/ government data analytics or public sector utility analytics.

Educational Qualification : B.Tech/B.E. in Computer Science / Information Technology / Electronics & Communication, Or
MCA/M.Sc. (Computer Science) with minimum 60% marks from a recognized University/Institution
Age Limit : 18 to 35 years as on the date of notification
