Tariff Change
To change the tariff depending on the purpose of usage.
- The applicant should be the legal owner/tenant/occupant of the property/building.
- SINGLE PHASE: Application fees: Rs. 10/- ; Inspection Fee: Rs. 25/-
- THREE PHASE: Application fees: Rs. 10/- Inspection Fee: Rs. 50/-
- Proof Of Identity (
Electoral ID card / Passport / Driving License / Ration Card / Photo identity Card issued by any Government Department or agency or PSU / PAN Card / Aadhar Card / Photo Identity Certificate from village Panchayat or Municipality or Municipal Corporation )

LT IA (Domestic Category)
- In case of connection to rental/leased property- NOC from owner of bldg/land as case may be is required, along with document to prove ownership of lessor.
- Home stay- Approval from Department of Tourism to be submitted else LT VII A tariff applicable.
- LT I tariff will be applicable only for those Drinking Water Schemes mentioned in Note 6 under LT I tariff of KSERC order dated 08.07.2019 OA no. 15/2018.

LT VI B or LT VI D (Non Commercial Category)
- If consumers (registered under Travancore- Cochin Literary, Scientific and Charitable Societies Registration Act 1955 (12 of 1955) or under the Societies Registration Act, 1860 (21 of 1860) or under Indian trust Act, 1882, donations to which are exempted from payment of Income Tax - Concerned certificates are to be produced

LT V A (Agriculture Category)
- Subsidy may be allowed for applicants that submit Certificate from competent authority in Agriculture Dept and have land holdings conforming to stipulations of State Govt., else undertaking to be submitted.

LT V B (Agriculture Category)
- In the case of agricultural connections in Punja or Kole land, letter of authorisation from the Punja / Kole special officer is required.
- If water is to be pumped from state owned
rivers, canals, ponds, wells etc, NOC from authorised officer also is required
- Once application is submitted by the consumer through any of the channels provided by KSEBL, the application will be received at the concerned section office were service is requested.
- On receipt of the application form, the section official will verify the application form and assign an official for providing requested service as per the delegation of powers.
- The assgined official will conduct site inspection if required, within the stipulated time specified in the Kerala Electricity Supply Code 2014 and assess the requirements required for providing requested service.
- An estimate of works required for effecting the requested works will be prepared by the inspecting official and submitted for approval
- As per the inspection report, sanction will be given if in order and demand note of the estimated amount will be raised as per the cost data approved by KSERC if any works are required for effecting the requested service.
- Once the consumer remits the estimated amount, priority will be assigned for completing the works involved in effecting the requested service.
- Officials will be assigned for completing the service at premises of the consumer and also for updating the service status in softwares
- Requested service will be effected within stipulated time mentioned in the Kerala Electricity Supply Code 2014
